Answer» model number G750JW Republic of Gamers Asus
Had windows 8 on an Asus laptop, got the blue screen of death and was advised to boot the computer with the windows 7cd I had. Was walked through that but then I found out that some DEVICES on my laptop (like the ethernet device) do not have windows 7 drivers. So I have to GO back to windows 8. I do not have a CD because my computer didnt come with one even though I did buy it new...
I go to boot and windows 7 is all that shows up in the options.
I've LOOKED all over the internet and havent found anything to help me.
Anyone feeling like being a poor REDNECK morons savior? Sorry to hear about your misfortune. You may have been bad advice. Before making big changes to hour computer, you should have made a b ackup plan. It seems your adviser not tell you. You need to read over your documentation and look on the web site. It may be possible to get a DVD from the maker of the computer for a small fee. An alternative is to locate somebody who has the same computer and have him make a copy of the system. Because you have the COA number, this is legal. Try this link: http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ROG_G750JW/ Or WRITE them and ask for support.
