I had two monitors on 1 PC for a while but now the other is gone and some windows still appear on the other screen that isn't there and I cant get to them. I've tried disabling the other MONITOR but it didn't work, i'm using Windows XP.Have you tried removing the second monitor via device manager?Yup it's goneHow do you know it's off screen if you can't see it? What GFX card is involved?It opens up on the bar at the BOTTOM of the screen and when I minimize it and then open it back up again it will show it going to the far right of my screen and then gone.Does your adapter have software that allows for "VIRTUAL desktop"? If so, reset the desktop characteristics there.Nope Originally, could you drag windows between the two monitors?  If so, do this: right-click on the application's button on the TASK bar.  Click move.  Using the cursor keys move the window in the direction it would need to come in order to arrive back on your monitor.

If that doesn't work, we can try a registry tweak.That worked

But there are some things like options in Photoshop that I cant do that for because they dont have buttons on the task-bar.
