Answer» Nope, your right Allan, nothing is fixed, but hey I truly had no idea what to do, so thanks again. Any advice, you 2 clever peepsLOL i would say check device manager in safe mode click view->show hiden devices look for any with a (!) on it you may want to reinstall some of the drivers but you better have some other member reply to that because i dont want to make it worseC'mon smeeze, all help is welcomed Just so as u know, when I get to safemode a grey box appears SAYING "windows xp setup cannot run under safe mode" ?? Sean If you still can't get into safe mode go ahead and borrow an XP CD (same version as you have installed) and try a repair install as I described above. But personally, if your system was that infected I'd just reformat and start from scratch.Ok Allan, Will check to see if I can get my hands on a disk, what do u mean by reformat & start from scratch?? Cheers Seanreformat and start from scratch means REFORMATTING (erasing) the harddisk and reinstalling the os you will lose all data and programs what if you ok the gray box that says setup does not run in safemode?Hi Smeeze, Black background SAFE MODE displays, a fews secs later the message appears, click ok and the machine reboots showing IBM CENTRINO page then MS windows XP screen then the blue screen message, then loop de loop loop.
