Solve : WINDOWS CAMERA AND SCANNER WIZARD? |

Answer» I've been downloading pics from my digital camera to my PC for YEARS using windows camera and scanner wizard which starts automatically when I PLUG it in. All of a sudden the wizard's disappeared and can't even activate it manually. I've tried system restore but EVERY date I tried came with the result "SYSTEM RESTORE INCOMPLETE". I switched off SR then back on but no change. Also photos I've had stored on the PC for years won't copy to a disc. I use the windows "delete browsing history" tool regularly to keep the PC running well - could this have deleted any software? I'm a beginner when it comes to these problems !! I THINK you mean downloading means transferring from camera to PC. FIRST make sure the camera or removable device is present in Windows Explorer.
