I know nothing about computers, but i know that weird music and adverts aren't supposed to be playing randomly.
On my Laptop i have Visa Home Basic and today had a random advert for St. Trinians 2, and then some wierd - quite nice - atmospheric music playing on loop.
I looked at my Volume Mixer, and it showed the music was coming from a DEVICE called "Windows COM+ Manager. I then looked at Task Manager and sure enough, a program called complmgr.exe is active.
I ended the process and the music STOPPED. I don t know if its going to happen again or not.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is, how i got it and how i can stop it?
