Answer» My computer cannot start, when I turn it on, this message prompt:
"windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \Windows\System32\Config\System You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows setup using the ORIGINAL setup CD-ROM. Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."
My computer is a Window XP Professional, I don't have the original setup CD-ROM, i TRIED to boot from Safe Mode, i can't get through. All i'm trying to KNOW if there's any other option that I can used to solve this problem??

Good day!! You might be able to start with a borrowed XP Pro cd. Know anyone???Thank you for your e-mail....much appreciated...but the one that i'm about to borrow the CD from is out from the country....and that's why i need to know if there's any ohter option that I can do...??

Unfortunately you ARE going to need your own XP CD someday. Who was the manufacturer that shorted you? Can you contact them?Thanx for your help...i'll do my best to get the XP CD and SEE what next!! Once again thanx for your help!!
