I feel as though i've RUN out of things to customise in windows! Here is a few of the more obscure things i'm running:

One of my goals is to make it as easy not to use the mouse at all. unfortunately you need the mouse for using webpages.

How AWESOME would it be to have a live webcam as your background.....

EDIT: because i'm not using explorer you can't click the background or anything, the only way to do anything is to use launchy, or some other hotkeys.

LOL nice. Heh nice. I was looking for some recommendations from other people who like to customise windows? I'm going to check out nlite soon see how far i can get with that, but if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to post them here.

FBI installed WinLogic Visual Styler before on my PC - I got with a magazine - and it NEARLY wiped out my laptop. I don't know why, but I had to do a system restore to get it to work again.

So that's why I'll never try customising it again! I don't use any graphic customisations at all because I like things simple.
Winblinds tends to get a lot of negative press, causing instability and crashes, so I would say to steer clear of that.
I used to use Stardock BOOTSKIN which never caused me any issues, handy tool to change your boot screen.yer simple is always good, if you couldn't guess from my desktop! i think Bootskin is the XP version of vista logonstudio.
