Solve : Windows delayed write failed? |

Answer» EVERYTIME i connect my external HD it works for like 5 min, then it gives me the following error: " windows - DELAYED write failed. Windows was unable to SAVE all the date for the file e:\Series\friday night lights. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elseware." And another pop-up appears that says "could not find the specefied file - Make sure you specify the correct path and file name." What must i do?All this means is that your usb connection is flaky. It happens to me all the time, what I usually do is just pull all all the cords restart the external hard drive a few times and try plug it into another usb port. It usually fixes it, but apart from that theres not much else I can suggest.But i have done that, but it still happens all the time? I have a new motherboard so the usb ports should be fine?
