Solve : Windows explore doesn’t show some or all search results?

Answer»

To prove I did following processes for several folders:
I didn't limit search conditions for each folder e.g. it didn't depend on size, time of last modification, type and so on.
I OPENED a folder. Then I did one of following actions:
1: I copied part of or whole name of a file or folder.
2: I copied part of a file's name which many folders and files have in common.
I kept above folder open to match with list of search results.
Then I chose the above folder for searching the copied text in other windows explorer.

Items in the folder didn’t match the list of results.  Of course I encountered some exceptions randomly.
what do you recommend? If the folder you created said file is in is still open Explorer will not see it...Exploer shows the file but if I search it with part of its name, the exploer doesn't show it. as before I said.

What is the point of this? Are you doing something practical or just doing some kind of EXPERIMENT?

Windows is, fundamentally, an Operating system, not a Database Manager.

edit: Your picture shows a search for n nothing.
If it found nothing, it is working perfectly."windows explorer" means explorer which is of windows os Quote from: saed on JUNE 18, 2012, 04:36:45 PM

"windows explorer" means explorer which is of windows os
Yes, and you tell it nothing and it finds nothing. -Right?
What is the problem?please, look at attachment that I have sent it. there is ENOUGH informationNo there isn't...and your missing the point.
Here's another test.. Open Explorer...create a new folder and create a new file in it...leave that window open...then run a search for the newly created file...yes, explorer finds it. but this is randomly. I research about it. has my coputer a rootkit Quote from: saed on June 18, 2012, 05:35:50 PM
yes, explorer finds it. but this is randomly. I research about it. has my coputer a rootkit

No, its not random, if you search for the same file, in the same way, for 5 searches, it will find the file 5 times........I think there isn't someone who can help me with this problem. all mis-understand it. Accurately I prove at beginning this topic that it doessn't work.http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/repair-a-corrupted-search-index-catalog-in-windows-vista/
