Solve : windows explorer closing, and pop-ups.?

1.	Solve : windows explorer closing, and pop-ups.?
Answer» every now and then i get a message SAYING windows explorer (explorer.exe) NEEDS to CLOSE or is closing or w/e and i dont KNOW what causes it but its very annoying. the explorer bar DISAPPEARS then reloads a few seconds later. and i've got pop-ups that i would love to get rid of. HELP! please. oh and i have windows xp its a compaq laptop uhh.. yeah just let me know what else you need.Start by running all your protection apps in safemode and post back with a list of which ones you have and the results of the scans...
