Answer» Yesterday I downloaded XP SP3 I now have an entry on Start menu called Windows Installer Cleanup. It list ALMOST all my programs and warns me that I may NEED to reinstall some applications on my system that used Windows Installer to be INSTALLED. CHOOSING remove will make PERMANENT changes. this is scary! What should I do, please, gurus? i have updated 3 computers with SP3 and have never seen thisWindows Installer Cleanup is a downloadable utility which can remove some applications, but can also break some.
