Solve : Windows keeps restarting?

Answer»

I have had this issue before and mine was always UNSTABLE even after I got XP to finally load on PC. The CD drive I was using was part of issue it was not good so it would stop spinning while loading OS. U may CONSIDER that HARDWARE failure can be to blame on either CD drive or floppy. Why floppy...shouldn't you be able to load ME from CD alone? Maybe change Bios to look at CD first when booting.

Not too familiar with ME..Avoided it too!
What was on this PC before? The installation cd isn't bootable. if I tell the computer to boot from the cd, it can't. Quote from: believer on August 10, 2008, 10:25:24 PM

I think getting an older windows like 2000 may help narrow the issue down.
Nothing has ever been on the computer before.Quote from: coinmaster on August 11, 2008, 11:38:13 AM
