|
Answer» Hi! every one. Windos xp was working ok, suddenly it just refuses to log me in. i click on the desired user account it says loading your personal setings and then it just says windows is longin off saving setting. this process takes place so QUICKLY and i cant if get access to my desktop. How do i solve this issue. i also tried going through safe mode but i get the same issue. Pliz help. NEED...more...info...gasp It might be a batch file in the start up folder. It is mega easy to make. Do this start up the computer and keep hitting F8 untill you see a screen asking to start in safe mode. Go to safe mode (not with netowkring or anything just safe mode) then log in and go to Start>Programs>Start up. If there is a batch file there delete it and reboot and load windows normally. Repost if this helped. Why would there be a batch file in the startup menu ? ?Do you have another computer (or a friends) that you can slave your hard drive to and get the data off? It is an easy "virus". It's just a batch file that has :loop shutdown -l goto :loop that's all, not but a few KB so its nothing that will lag system preformance. It might have been an exe that you used to add it.I like your thinking! However, it also happens in safe mode. And I think that not even batch files are executed when safe mode is loaded as no programs in the start-up folder are loaded. |
