Solve : Windows Mail? |

Answer» I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Always have had trouble with the mail program (I've only been a computer user since December 07). When I started, I was on MSN dial-up service because I was also on web-tv. I've since cancelled web-tv and now am on high speed internet, cable modem, Grande Com. I've tried deleting everything having to do with dial-up, but i still GET a pop-up telling me to connect to my dial-up ACCOUNT when I try to use Windows Mail. I don't have one in the accounts SECTION. What the heck am I missing this time? It always defaults to Windows Mail when I try to forword a pic or something similar. ... i still get a pop-up telling me to connect to my dial-up account when I try to use Windows Mail. I don't have one in the accounts section. So, the only account you now have in Windows Mail is your NEW Grande Com email account? Is Windows Mail your default email program? If not, then what is?Grande is set up as my default under accounts in the windows e-mail program. It's the only account listed under accounts. When I try to forword something off a web page, it still goes through windows mail and then I get the pop-up saying to connect. I'm ALREADY connected. Jim |
