My laptop is behaving strangely. The display has a large black border round it so the desktop is really small and the colours are not normal. (It looks LIKE safe mode but doesn't have 'safe mode' in the corners). This wouldn't be such a problem but the MOUSE pointer is nowhere to be seen and there's only so much I've managed to do using keyboard shortcuts. I've tried restarting in safe and normal modes and experimenting with display settings but no change. Any ideas?!
Thanks! At the very LEAST you have incorrect VIDEO drivers loaded. What type of video chip is identified? Can you use an external mouse (PS/2 or USB) toget through the rest of the corrections NEEDED?Type dxdiag in the runbox may tell you more.....
Have you upgraded this pc..?
