When i install a fresh COPY of the media center and after cahning ther theme or after installing drivers, i restart the computer and all i loose the drivers and anything i install including software and etc. Please help me. Thanls.Do you by any chance have a program called Deep Freeze, or similar, installed? You mean did not install the mobo installer? You formatted the drive and installed media center fresh?Whenever you do a CLEAN install ALL drivers need to be re-installed as well including the MBoard drivers...I Formated by HD Into NTFS Partition in Partition Magic 8.0m After that I installeda  fresh copy of windows Media Center Edition 2005 i installed media center previously on other computers and it works GREAT, but for some reason it doesnt work on mine. And I dont think that i need drivers for the motherboard because windows xp has them supplied. I raid the HD Together could that be the problem. I tried installing a fresh copy of windows xp professional on my NTFS harddrive and it runs great on erros and i install software and after restart , it keeps the software installed. someting is wrong with media center.
P.S. Where can i find the drivers for my Promise Technologies Unltra100 Raid Controller PCI card? When i went to the Device Manager it showed be a question mark. It said RAID controler or SCSI Controller. I have raid card PCI but have no drivers. Thanks

If you need to know more informaion about my system please ask. I really want to get meda center up and running for my family.
You are going to need the MBoard drivers...DLoad and run Everest Home and it will tell you exactly which board you have.

I only trust the MBoard manuf. site for these.

Everest will also tell you where you need to grab the RAID/SATA drivers from.
