Answer» I have a corrupt hp windows media center computer and I have their RECOVERY cd's. I want to do a REPAIR installation like what xp pro can do, but it only allows me to erase the WHOLE hard DRIVE and I don't want to do that. Is there a way of doing just a repair installation and still keep your data on there? I was wondering if it was because they are HP's recovery cd's and not the REGULAR cd's you get from Microsoft could be the problem?
