I have cd with all different tracks on it. I want to put it on my mp3 player so i ripped it using windows media player. The problem being is it just says track 1 track 2 ect. I want it to name the ARTISTS but i have forgot how to make it do this. Can anyone help.
Thanks.Have you tried something like [highlight]Tag&Rename Pro[/highlight]?If it is a compilation you have BOUGHT, you should be able to get the names by clicking find album info on the top righthand corner of the 'rip' tab in wmp. If it is a cd-r, i usually type in the info myself.Hi, I had similar problem and solved it by doing the following: When in WMP go to tools/options/privacy setting and ensure the relevant boxes are ticked in the enhanced playback and device settings i.e 'display media information from the INTERNET' and 'update music files by retrieving media info from the internet'. Make sure you are logged onto internet when using WMP. Good Luck.
