Answer» Can anyone help me please!! I've been working on this project forever in MOVIEMAKER. I made a video of still photos and music. I need to figure out how to play it on a DVD player. Do I just burn it on a DVD? That seems to easy. I burned it onto a regular cd-r. It will play on other COMPUTERS but not DVD PLAYERS. Any help would really be appreciated!!A cdr disk contains 740mbs......a dvd disk contains 4gig of space....this playing depends how is was written to disk.....some dvd players will no play it due to codeing.....you may need avi-dvd decoder to play in on a dvd player......belkin video-bus is worth the cash...PC to tv....Most DVD players will not play CDR. There are lots of exceptions. You can RECORD it as a video CD (VCD or SVCD) and many newer DVD players will handle it. Cyberhome CH-300 (<$40) will play them, for one. This all assumes you only have a CDR recorder. If you record your stuff on a DVD recorder, of course, it will play on home DVD players. Dell
