That's because it's an OEM CD that will effectively wipe all your data and take the machine back to Day One status...

If this is not what you want you need to let US know before going any further...

Otherwise all bets are off...This CD came with the Laptop.

See if you are able to borrow a Microsoft CD of the same ver. you are running...
