Answer» I have an IDE (master, C:\) and an SATA (should be E:\) hard drive hooked up to this computer. BIOS reads both of them as there, and Device manager acknowledges they're both plugged in and "functioning properly". Windows seems to be acknowledging the existence of the second harddrive, but I'm getting consistent "Delayed Write Failed" Errors for the drive every time I start up my computer. Any ideas? Have you scanned for Viruses? [glb]Fame[/glb]Try going into Device Manager and bring up the Properties for your disk drive. Disable the "Enable Write CACHE for this drive" box. Well, I tried that, but when I restarted I still GOT the Delayed Write Error, and now Device Manager doesn't SEE the drive anymore!I'm SORRY that didn't work.
