Solve : Windows NT Problem...? |
|
Answer» I have Windows Vista, and I'm having a problem. I have a program that I'm just about desperate to run, but it is not COMPATIBLE with Windows NT. Is there some way to circumvent that? Like a driver that can emulate Windows 95 or something. You can try running it in Compatibility Mode... This worked. The program is letting me run it.. Now I just have a problem with the program itself. You wouldn't happen to know about the details of Lode Runner Online, would you? =PIf you do, by any chance, it tells me that it cannot OPEN this file: c:\users\Tyler\desktop\loderu~2\DirectX\DXsetup.exe That file doesn't exist in any realm of my computer.Lode Runner, eh? That certainly takes me back. Did you move the game's folder after you installed it? That error points to a folder on your desktop. Is there where the Lode Runner folder ACTUALLY resides? If not, then where is it? By the looks of it, something either got moved/deleted or the game may need to be reinstalled. What I did was I took the zipped file, I put it in a seperate file from everything else, I unloaded EVERY file from its archives, and I hit Setup. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be... Thanks anyways. At least now I know how to use older files on newer systems.Do you have a legal copy of the game? If not, that COULD very well be part of the problem. |
