Or are you TRYING to reinstall the operating system from a Windows (?) Installation CD?What brand and model is your computer? Most us one of the F# keys to get you into a recovery mode so you can repair/restore your system from the recovery partition. Boot the computer and watch carefully as it STARTS up it usually only SHOWS it for a split second....(don't know why they make it so hard to see it and give time to read the options and press a friggin key!)
