Ok i have a virus on my pc that will not let me start windows. When I turn the computer on it appears to load normally, gets to the loading windows logo screen(with the black background), passes this, the screen then goes black and the computer restarts!? This goes round on a loop and doesnt stop. I know the computer has a virus, not sure what type. What can i do? ThanksRe-boot thew machine and tap F8 repeatedly to enter SafeMode and run all your anti-malware apps from there...this doesnt SEEM to work, just get a long list of WAT looks like command promptsYou have to be patient and let it run...it can take up to a minute to Enter safemode.
Try again.na still not working. Just crashes everytime I try PUT it in safe mode. Left it for half hour waiting for it to load, no joy. Really annoying me now as everything I try wont work, seems to have a bad virus. Is there anything I could try?If you are UNABLE to get into Windows in EITHER mode i'm afraid your only choice is to re-install Windows...

You can hook up that drive as a slave to another working machine to back up all your data first...
