Answer» I'm getting 'banner' WARNING that I may have a counterfeit XP and I can't get rid of the banner on the bottom of my desk top. Any Ideas? I had the purchased copy, but the last Tech apparently did,t use it to reinstall windows XP. Some how the 'Updates" got run and after that the banner CAME up. Reinstall Windows with your, LEGIT copy.First I would have to WIPE h.d. Yes. It's EITHER A, or B. You can't have both.
