Solve : Windows security essentials and Defender.? |
|
Answer» I have just installed Windows Sec. Essentials and it seems to be working just fine picking up a couple of trojans. I did UNINSTALL Avast and disabled Defender and Super Antispy as Microsoft suggested and am wondering if I can now enable Defender again, or Super Antispy, as Defender keeps popping up to TELL me that it is disabled and turn it on. Q: Is Microsoft Security Essentials designed to replace Windows Defender? Superantispyware is an essential antimalware tool, so keep running it once in a while.Hi Broni and thank you once again as you have actually helped me in the past.MSE is working well and I no longer need AVAST.Yes, Microsoft DISABLES Defender if one turns it on again so that problem is taken care of and I have not had any more notifications that it is turned off. Thanks again, Barry M.You're welcome |
