Solve : windows\system32\config\system corrupt, no boot? |
|
Answer» My laptop will not boot up and message indicates config\system32\CONFIG\SYSTEM file problem. The DARK screen indicates repair file by starting windows SETUP using original CD-Rom and SELECT r at first screen. When I insert the original Toshiba disc which contains XP, and select r, it leads me into a complete hard disc erase, which of course will destroy a lot of valuable files. What do I do? Thanks for any help. --jrkellyThe error message indicates that your REGISTRY is corrupt. To preserve data you could install the HDD in another pc and copy files. |
