the WINDOWS task bar is visible at all TIMES but when i open mozilla firefox it is disabled...i am using windows xp...please help meTry these suggestions and see if it helps.
1. Right-click taskbar with FF closed and choose Properties. Under Taskbar tab look for Auto-hide options(if its checked) untick that option and hit Apply. Another option below is a check mark on Keep the taskbar on TOP of all windows hit Apply.
2. You can also right-click the FF browser icon on your dekstop and look for shortcut tab. Look for RUN options to choose when opening FF from Normal, Minimized, Maximized window. Make sure to hit apply.
3. If ANYTHING above is still making changes, try running system file checker. Run cmd and type sfc /scannow.Additional option that can be used is here -> http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
