Help and Support: http://support.microsoft.com/select/?target=hub * * * I checked that the numbers were identical (I have very limited experience) and decided it was OK to install. On installation all sorts of problems. Small desktop icons. Application Icons shrunk. Etc. etc. etc
I did a system restore and all is back to normal.
Question, any IDEA what made it go off its nut……and will it have a deleterious effect on my computer not downloading it. Seems to operate all right without it. Just CURIOUS. (Seeker of knowledge ) Thanks
Quote Small desktop icons. Application Icons shrunk.
Maybe screen resolution got changed. See, what resolution you have now. Install new driver, and see, if resolution is set to the same value after driver installation.
