Solve : Windows Update Folders?

Answer»

I was just wondering if it is safe to remove (delete) OLD Windows Update backup folders from my computer ?I think so. But I don't do it manually though, I have tuneup utilities delete the windows update backup files for me

IF you don't know what tuneup utilities is then go to this website and find out!
http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/I'm always against using so called "miracle" tools, fix-it-all.
Sooner, or later, they're gonna break something.
...and to pay for them? Why?
Open Windows Explorer, and delete uninstall folders, LEAVING those 2-3 months old, alone.no such thing as miracle tool in my opinion but i'd rather trust some professional to do some of the work sometimes.Quote from: Szpixman on March 15, 2009, 12:26:29 PM

CCleaner > Advanced > Hotfix Uninstallers.

Don't remove them unless you know the updates are working OK. Once removed there is no getting them back.Quote

Dude, don't be so irritated

I meant there's many ways of doing THINGS, my way suits me fine but it's not the only way. Yes, it's a paid software but I got it through trialpay so it was virtually free for me anyway. But of course whatever gets the job done QUICK and free of issues and free of cost then that's good

I just posted a suggestion and it works but don't get caught up just thinking it's the only way things work.

Thanks everyone. Will try the CCleaner option...it has always been safe & trustworthy as far as I'm concerned, even they're registry cleaner has never cause me grief. I won't go into some of the cold sweats
I've gotten trying some of the other ones.
