Solve : Windows Vista Installation Problem (sata drivers)? |

Answer» Hi, when i TRY to install Windows Vista 64, i get the same problem that many other have, that i cant find anny drives to install on, and i have understood that i need sata drivers. cant find annything that works, Where have you looked? the cd, asus's webpage, google. i found some drivers on the cd, but dont know exact wich one i need, so i tryed to install some of them, but still get the same message so i dont know annymore what to do, so im writing here Quote from: jukka on April 05, 2009, 04:13:57 AM the cd, asus's webpage, google. phenom cpu? i dont think the cpu is the problem, but no, i have a amd 64 athlon x2 dual-core 6000+You have enabled SATA in the BIOS? yes. the harddrive works, i used to have xp, and everything worket fine, but its a normal problem on Vista, and i need the Sata drivers, but dont know what driver or where to find it.Try flashing your BIOS, reset your CMOS by pulling the battery and BRIDGING the reset jumper. Had this HAPPEN before on other boards, procedure to flash the BIOS.still get the same message |
