Answer» Does windows vista ULTIMATE come in cd's instead of a dvd? Just curious. Not that I'm AWARE of.so if you don't have a dvd player in your computer, you just wasted like $200?pretty much...
it does say on the system requirements, "DVD-ROM drive"oh, well I don't see this as a problem because i have a dvd drive, hahaRegarding the TOPIC title of this thread: er, let's not go there FOLKS! The contact INFO for ordering it on CD's as replacement for the DVD's is on the inside tab of the Vista plastic case... You will need to authenticate it over the phone and give a credit card # for the shipping costs...Ah HA!
see it's a good thing I try to qualify stuff I say with "as far as I know" or an equivalent
Anyway, continuing down this road, there should be a floppy disk version...
"please insert Vista Disk 314"You would need to buy 5 floopy drives just to get to the Welcome to Vista screen.... HA HA HA
FLOOPY.
that never gets old...
On the other hand DVD drives start at around $25.
