Solve : Windows Vista System Registry Editor Help?

Answer»

Thank you for coming to my TOPIC!Anyway, my annoying father went into my Windows Vista Dell Inspiron E1505 notebook and took away my laptop's wireless capability. He went into the system registry, I'm guessing, and did SOMETHING there. All he said to me when I questioned him was that it's hard to find and I won't get help online because all the manufacturers are different and my computer's 40 something digit hexagonal code to get to this thing wouldn't be there, and he only knows how to find it because he's been doing this for 20 years.
Now, I need help finding it. I'm currently on my laptop plugged into the internet router directly.
So, what I'm asking is this.
Does anybody on this website know how to find this so called code, and possible help me through the steps into enabling my wireless card thing?
And don't worry, I'm not extremely stupid when it comes to computers.

Uhm, I suppose if anyone wants to reach my at my America Online Instant Messaging screen name, you can. It's mcrbabiixo.
Thank you!

I would, but he's all mad that I supposedly hung up on him
Stupid cell phone went all "BEEP BEEP BEEP CALL WAS LOST" on me.It is as good as impossible for us to know exactly what he did. The registry is huge and there is a lot of settings he could have messed with. Like Broni I suggest you talk to your father.
Else (as I see it) your only other options are System Restore (if you're lucky it might contain a backup point prior to your father MESSING with the registry) or reinstalling Vista.
