Solve : Windows Vista won't boot on my desktop? |
|
Answer» My DESKTOP computer just crashed. When I turn it on it just stays at the huge DELL boot screen. Windows won't start or anything. No key strokes do anything, not F2, F12, or anything else I've tried. I almost forgot. It did have a USB flash drive in it when I turned it off (just a 1GB with mp3's on it). After the first unsuccessful boot I removed it from the USB port but nothings changed). That should not cause any issues...Quote from: Custom-IT on April 12, 2009, 07:58:33 PM Is there any other information at all on the DELL boot screen? And the beep you get: is it a long beep or a short one?Short beep as usual. The screen says F2=Setup and F12=Boot Menu like it normaly does. Everything looks fine, but it would only take a few seconds on this screen before. Now it's been stuck for at least 30 minutes with no changes or noises. |
