I think it's the updates from Microsoft. Every time I do System Restore (had to do another this morning) it seems this happens the night:

Software DISTRIBUTION Service 2.0.

It seems that whatever the system is trying and fialing to install is effing up my computer. I looked through the log and everything is fine until a certain day when it downloads an UPDATE, then tries to install it every day. {F0A5BC63-73F3-43B4-BA33-1787EIt gives me those errors every day, so obviously it's the problem. Now I have to figure out A) How to disable it and B) How to get the updastes to work and C) How to get Service Pack 2 on my compI've searched through tons of google pages with no fix. If anyone could help I'd love you.It isn't the program running it, it's the things it's trying to isntall that keep failing.Do you have a real Windows CD to reinstall with if that is needed? That may be the best and certainly the simplest way to proceed.
