Solve : Windows wont boot (blue screen)?

Answer»

My cousin have toshiba l30-134 laptop with windows xp. When windows loading(windows loading screen) blue screen appears, and then the machine reboot. I tried every mode to load windows(safe mode, last good KNOWN config,...) but the machine show every time blue screen. And i cannot use any OS or toolkit boot disc because the dvd driver maybe have PROBLEM. Anyone knows if this laptop model have hidden partition for recovery? And how i do this recovery?
Thanks.
(SORRY if my English sucks) When you get the boot option screen (by pressing F8 at boot) have you tried "Disable boot on error"? Or you can boot to safe mode and to go to System Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery Settings and uncheck "automatically restart". Next time you boot the blue screen error should remain up - if it does, POST the entire contents here.Quote

Every time the laptop boot it shows this boot option screen. Whatever option i choose (safe mode, safe mode with lan, safe mode with command prompt, last good known config) it shows blue screen and then restarts. Now i don't tried this disable boot on error. And i don't remember either if in BIOS have this option. And this moment i don't have the laptop. Any other suggestion's? 1. Disable Automatic Restart. From the Windows Advanced Options menu, use the up/down arrow keys to select the "Disable automatic restart on system failure" and hit Enter.

This item became available with the release of Service Pack 2. It is not on the Windows Advanced Options menu of Service Pack 1.

Hopefully the machine will stop on a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). Record and post back with the "exact" error message text and/or numbers plus any offending software module it might name. A google search on these text strings or substrings sometimes provides problem resolution.

2. Windows Advanced Options Menu. Use the F8 function key during system startup to access the Windows Advanced Options menu. Tap the F8 key once or TWICE per second as you startup the computer (or immediately after POST completes and screen flashes black prior to displaying Windows XP logo with its processing bar display).

3. Which Model? I don't know if there's a Recovery Partition on the hard drive. Go to the manufacturer's website and review the support documentation for that product. I was unable to identify your laptop on the Toshiba website (US). Perhaps if you provided a complete product name and number. Also not sure which country your model was sold in. The US website lists the following model names with a long list of product numbers for each one:
o Qosmio
o Satellite
o mini notebook
o Satellite Pro
o Portege
o libretto
o Tecra
