Solve : Windows XP Boot-up Crash?

Answer»

So I turned my computer on like any other day. Opened up Firefox turned on my Techno Radio, and logged on to world of warcraft. On the loading screen my computer shuts off completely... So i turn it BACK on, it boots up fine, I do the exact same thing, and my computer crashes again at the loading screen.  Now this time when i turn my computer on, it crashes right beforte loading the XP Login screen. it happens whenever i turn on the computer now..

So i read up online trying to figure out whats going on.. (i'm using my brothers computer right now).

-I tried the "set computer back to previous date" thing, no luck.
-I tried the "run computer in last good configuration" or whatever its called, and that didn't work.
-I can successfully get to my computer on Safe mode.

I checked the device manager, and there are no errors on any of the devices*
* - Because im in running in safe mode, some of the devices are disabled, so they MIGHT be the error crashing my computer.

so my question is, how do i figure out which device is crashing my computer, if im running in safe mode and the devices are disabled? OR, am i totally off, and something else is crashing my computer?

My suspicion is that since i was running several layered audios at once (techno streaming audio + loading videogame audio) crashed my sound card and computer? Can a crashed/overloaded sound card even crash your computer?

The following Groups of Devices are "Unable to see status of device in Safe mode":
-Network adapters
-Display Adapter (NVIDIA GEFORCE 6200)

Just ask and I can list the rest of the names of the devices that are disabled by safe mode, and unable to show status.

My System Specs are:
Xp Home Edition Version 2002 - Service Pack 2
Intel(R) 4CPU 2.60Ghz 2.59Ghz, 1 GB of Ram.

Disregard merlin's postings.reseating? im sorry im unfarmilliar with this term. IF you mean reset, how do you reset a video card?Turn computer off. Open the case. Touch any bare metal part to discharge any static ELECTRICITY. Remove video card. Put it back. Close the case. Start computer.
