Solve : Windows XP boots but no login...? |

Answer» My trustly Compaq Presario laptop running XP HOME Edition SP2 is acting up. WINDOWS boots, gets to the blue screen with the XP Logo but never gets past that point. No login appears. This is out of the blue, it has been working fine for years, I booted it up this morning and it is stuck. I tried booting in safe mode, the same happens. I remember this happing about 2 years ago, the way I solved it then was by REINSTALLING Windows. That is an option of course but I'd rather not go there since it will take many hours of work to get everything back in order. |
