Solve : Windows XP crash?

Hello there, ok HERES my problem. Upon startupof the Win XP graphic interface, my computer crashes. I have tried to start up in SAFE mode, but it does the same thing. If someone can help me it would be much apreciated.Questions;

1. Do you have access to a windows XP disc/ recovery disc?
2. Is it windows XP home, or Windows XP Professional?Need more information. EXACTLY what happens and at what point during the boot does it happen?

What LED up to this? What is different between the last time you booted successfully and the first time you didn't (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc). And it doesn't matter if it's Pro or Home.He hasn't been here since Christmas.....actually he closed his account.Oops.
