Basically he's using an OEM Dell CD to do multiple installs on a non-Dell system...which i don't think we should be advising on any further so i'm outta here.
Is that against the EULA if there is a UNIQUE COA for each machine? Quote from: blithe spirits on May 26, 2012, 03:56:38 PM
the Windows XP O.S. won't accept my system disc as the original.

And yet work it does.

So which is it?

If it's a disk for Dell computers, I would bet you won't be able to reinstall Windows from the disk. It will look at the system you have, realize that it's not a Dell computer, and refuse to install. If YOU no what to do:then take the bios BAT out and flip it.and place it back in the holder.now replace it..you now have a clean bios..now TRY to boot..does it pass post...Ignore the above post. The POSTER has been warned for posting nonsense.
