Answer» I don't know much about computer's,if i didn't say the right one it's the top dvd/cd reader. So you put in a disk, close the tray, and it is promptly ejected? I laughed about it for abit i guess. It just started doing this today.I don't know what caused it i was away for a day. I have Sp2 and im checking right now if there is any new updates. After you've checked for updates, check the hardware. Is this a pre-built PC? If so, what make and model? If it's a custom-built PC, what components? Are there any problems shown in device manager? There isn't any problems in the device manager. But like i said,i don't know much about computers. It's a pre built pc i guess. My guess is it's a hp paviolion a1350n,don't know if that helps. Is it STILL under warranty? It may be a hardware issue that you cannot fix.Yes it's still under warranty.Take it back. The drive is defective. Alan <>< |
