Answer» I did just get a new mini PC but the OS is Vista and im not a fan of vista so I WANT to install XP on it the problem is that I have the windows XP on a CD and my mini pc don't have a CD reader.
So is it possible to get the Windows XP in to a USB drive and install it?
It can be done that way but i highly suggest investigating if there are XP drivers available for that unit... You may be in for a suprise.
P.S. It has to SUPPORT booting to a USB device as well...well I don't wana buy it on a USB when I got a fully working CD... but how do I change so it start whit USB?
I know on my other computer I can press F12 to get to the change thingy but it wont work on the mini pc...CONSULT the manual for how to enter the BIOS... You can't buy XP on a USB you will have to do that part yourself...This may help you:
