Answer» I have a user that while WORKING in windows xp 61 calculators will open by themselves. I have SCANNED the pc with cc cleaner and norton, norton found no viruses, and ccleaner clean out lots of junk, and none of the junk looked to be virus related.. The user is on an 8710w laptop from hp.
Since I have run ccleaner he has had no futher issue as of yet, but the user is unable to tell me how much TIME passes between occurances. However it does not sound like the problem occurs more than 3 or 4 times a day..
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the help.Possibly a worm. I READ about a PC that opened 200. Needs moving to malware section?
Or, just a thought... is there a special key that starts calc? Could be a faulty keyboard. maybe disabling any custom keyboard features would isolate the problem?
This problem can happen to PCs connected to Virtual Server...
