Thanks for all the replies. You experienced guys correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not as familiar with laptops as I am desktops so this may not be much of an issue, but if your GOING to run some OLDER XP era software with Windows 7, whatever MACHINE you get needs to have a CPU capable of hardware VIRTUALIZATION, which is required to run XP mode on a machine running Windows 7.
I didn't know this when I bought the Core2 Q8200 CPU (not virtualization capable) I installed in my last build and it caused some problems running older software with Windows 7 ^ ouh? is this true? So where can I get this hardware virtual thing?
