Solve : Windows XP picture manager?

Answer»

My daughter removed the microsoft office and it took the picture MANAGER with it.
Would like to recover the picture manager, is there a way to do this. Thanks for any help.To get the MS Office picture manager back, you will need to reinstall MS Office.
But if you don't want all the PROGRAMS in the suite, you can choose the custom option during installation, and UNCHECK any items you do not want to install.
Hope this helps. Thanks, but I don't know how to reinstall it. Can you expand on this. I'm not too smart on the PC.Insert the MS Office CD into your CD drive.
Then, an installation wizard should come up on your PC.
This will guide you through the process of reinstalling MS Office - just make sure you click custom, rather than full, typical or any similar options, when asked what type of installation you want to perform.Sound right to me. My daughter lives in another state, I'll contact her. But from what she told me, I don't think she has the CD. In that event, is there another way ?In that case, no, I don't think there is another way.
It's worth looking for the CD if you had it at one point, although it sounds like maybe it came with your computer and you didn't have the actual CD.Thanks Calum. I called and she said she thinks the program came with the PC, as
she dont remember any CD. The only thing I can think of is a restore, if she can keep her files. Take care. Thanks again. If she needs just picture manager, she can try some search, like THIS
You have to take closer look, because not all listed items are strictly picture managers, but I'm sure, she'll FIND something. How do you convince a woman of anything Broni ? I've tried, I use Picasa2 myself
and told her so. Thanks for the site, I saved it.Quote
