I GOT error and install would not complete. I have not posted my issue on Puppy site forum yet, I will do that.You need to follow the instructions and create a CD. Then, you boot from the CD you created.I downloaded ISO version for CD and burned to CD using NERO Burn Image to Disc option. That should do it. The real test will be to see if the computer boots from the disk.I have been trying to boot from disc with puppy linux with no luck. I have been on Puppy forum and got many suggestions but nothing has worked. I have even tried booting without hard drive.

I am about to give up, unless someone has ANOTHER suggestion that might help me.  I really appreciate all the help so FAR and I am very disappointed that so far I have not been able provided satisfaction to those that have chipped in with advice.Did you enter the BIOS and set the CD/DVD rom as 1st boot device ? ?
When doing so the last step is to "press F10 to save changes and exit"...Yes I am well aware of how to do that and I have been booting form the cp with Puppy linux, but can't get it to load.You may have to burn the puppy Linux to a fresh CD and TRY again.
Once in awhile any CD might  not boot for some unknown reason.
