Answer» I have a Dell DIMENSION 5100 computer that has recently been Killed in action. The Hard DRIVE is dead. I went AHEAD and replaced it with a new ONE. Only now whenever I try to install my Windows XP PRO install disk it does not work. I have already gone into BIOS and selected ''Boot Sequence'' then made sure that the Onboard or USB CD-Rom Device boots first from the CD. I keep getting the ''Floppy diskette failure'' message. I need help!!!! Move floppy down to the last position in the boot order... |
