Answer» i have a boot up problem, if i have any usb device connected to my 2005year hp descktop,windows will not start and gives me the FOLLOWING error: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or currupt: Windows ROOT system 32\ netoskml.exe. PLEASE reinstall a copy of the above file if i dont have any usb device connected, windows starts normally. i also can PLUG in a ps2 mouse, it lights up but doesent work, ps2 keyboard does.Go to Start/Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter... Have your XP CD handy... Let it finish and re-boot.
