Answer» ok im not gonna slave ANOTHER computer but i am gonna backup my files in a harddrive...i just have a problem with the harddrive...it says it has a corrupted file...how do i REMOVE it? and the computer im going to take it to a repair shopi tihnk he deleted a windows package or something...because everything including the internet explorer is not looking normal...like running windows xp on classic mode.. the taskbar has a gray BOX over it and the start menu is wack...If you follow the link Dusty provided above the procedure is fairly SIMPLE...simply remove the drive and hook it up as a slave drive in a working machine and copy/burn any data you need from it...
