Answer» is anyone else having problems with this update?
i INSTALL mine and about 2 minutes later it's like it's not even installed. the notice pops up again saying i need to install it. i MUST have installed this thing 30 times but it KEEPS telling me to install it. it's getting VERY annoying.
anyone have a way to fix this?Have you gone to Add/Remove Programs to SEE if it's listed there yet ? ?
If so remove it and retry.
I have also seen this when Windows Installer takes a dive...you can dload a fix from the MS website.
patio. 8-)ok, i checked and i do have the latest version of windows installer. i went ahead and reinstalled it anyway just incase there was a problem with it, but i'm still having the same problem.You're missing the point...did you check to see if the update was listedf as i stated above and follow those instructions ? ? ?
And as far as the installer it doesn't matter what version it is...it gets corrupted. DLoad the fix and RUN it...
